These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Locksy mobile application ("App"), website(s), and related services (collectively, "Locksy"). By accessing or using Locksy, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms.

Locksy is a Silicon Valley–based tech startup, operated by Locksy LLC, a company registered and headquartered in the United States.

Acceptance of Term

By using Locksy, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must cease use of Locksy immediately.

Eligibility

Locksy is intended for users aged 12 and older. By using Locksy, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

User Conduct

You agree to:

• Use Locksy for lawful purposes only.
• Not engage in harassment, abuse, or violation of privacy.
• Not impersonate others or create multiple accounts with misleading identities.
• Not reverse-engineer, modify, distribute, or exploit any part of Locksy.
• Not attempt to copy or reproduce any of Locksy’s unique features, mechanics, or intellectual property.

Locksy is a positive and safe social networking app designed for fun and authentic connections. Any form of inappropriate content, harassment, or misuse will not be tolerated and may result in immediate action, including account suspension or removal. Keep it fun. Keep it respectful

Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Locksy is not responsible for unauthorized access due to your failure to secure your login information.

Content & Intellectual Property

All content, features, and mechanics within Locksy, including but not limited to its brand, logo, UI/UX design, mechanics, animations, slogans, proverbs, icons, banners, source code, and proprietary methods, are exclusively owned by Locksy and protected under intellectual property laws.

Copyright Notice & Legal Enforcement

Locksy, along with its features and technology, is officially recognized as prior art and a first-inventor proprietary system. Any reproduction, imitation, modification, or unauthorized adaptation is strictly prohibited and will be subject to immediate legal action under global intellectual property laws, including U.S. patent and trademark regulations.

Our legal team and litigators actively monitor and investigate any attempts toreplicate, copy, or reverse-engineer Locksy's intellectual property. Unauthorized use, duplication, or reproduction of any part of Locksy will result in swift enforcement, including takedown notices, lawsuits, and financial penalties.

No part of Locksy's app, website(s), or products may be copied, modified, or used in any capacity without our explicit prior written consent. Any detected infringement WILL result in legal investigation and potential prosecution.

Messaging & Sharing

Locksy enables users to send and receive secure, time-sensitive messages in a fun and engaging way. Locksy is the world's first app that allows users to send, receive, and unlock locked, timed multi-type messages, posts, and stories—creating a unique and interactive messaging experience like never before.

User Content Control & Ephemeral Messaging

Locksy is built on the principle of true user control—your messages, posts, and shared content are ephemeral, meaning they vanish after the set time. You decide when your content disappears, ensuring privacy and control over what you share and for how long.

Unlike traditional platforms where content lingers indefinitely, Locksy empowers users with timed, locked, and vanishing messages—your data isn’t stored permanently, and once it’s gone, it’s gone for good.

We are committed to privacy-first social interactions, allowing users to communicate freely while staying in control of their digital footprint.

Privacy & Data Usage

Locksy values your privacy. We do not sell your data to third parties. Your information is stored and handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which should be read in conjunction with these Terms.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any user account that violates these Terms or engages in prohibited conduct. Violations related to intellectual property theft or unauthorized replication may result in legal prosecution.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Locksy is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee that it will function without errors or interruptions.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Locksy and its affiliates are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

Safety & Mobile Usage

Locksy is a free app to download; however, some services may require In-App Purchases (IAP). Locksy is accessible via your mobile device or browser, which may require internet connectivity. Your mobile data provider may charge you for usage, and Locksy is not responsible for any data, internet, or device processing charges incurred on your side.

Additionally, while using the Locksy app, you are solely responsible for safe handling and operation, whether online or offline. This includes but is not limited to using the app while working, driving, operating machinery, or in any other scenario where distractions may pose a risk.

Locksy is a social messaging and networking platform that allows users to send, receive, and interact with locked, timed, and unlockable messages, posts and stories. Users can share text, images, voice messages, videos ( also known as clip) and real-time notifications across their networks.

If any disputes, arguments, or legal issues arise between users—whether initiated within the Locksy app or elsewhere—users are solely responsible for resolving them independently. Locksy is not liable for any personal disputes, conflicts, or consequences stemming from user interactions.

You, the user, are fully responsible for the content you share or send to others. Be mindful and use Locksy responsibly.

In-App Purchases (IAP) & Premium Features

Locksy offers premium features through in-app purchases (IAP), allowing users to unlock exclusive benefits for an enhanced experience.

Golden Lock Premium & Verification Package – $3.99/month

By subscribing to the Golden Lock premium package, users gain access to:

• Unlimited Drops – Send as many locked and timed messages as you want, without limitations.
• Golden Lock Verification Badge – Get officially verified with a special golden lock on your profile, next to your name and avatar, visible to all users, including connected friends.
• Block Screenshots – Extra protection with screenshot blocking for added security.

Subscription Details:

• The subscription is billed monthly at $3.99 per month.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account upon confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Users can manage and cancel subscriptions in their Apple account settings.
• No refunds are issued for partially used periods.

Locksy reserves the right to modify subscription pricing and features at any time. Any changes will be communicated in advance.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by applicable laws in the relevant jurisdictions. Any legal matters will be handled in accordance with the appropriate governing laws.
